NEW BUSINESSES OPEN IN KAKAʻAKO

As businesses on Oʻahu slowly expand hours and services, there are some new additions in the neighborhood, all of them within walking distance from Ililani.

VALYOU FURNITURE

Valyou Furniture opened their second showroom on Oʻahu at the corner of Ala Moana Boulevard and Coral Street, across the street from SALT at Our Kakaʻako. 1938 INDOCHINE

Hawaii-based restauranteur, Kevin Aoki of the Aoki Group, opened his third restaurant at The Collection on July 10 featuring the flavors of Southeast Asia, from Vietnam to Thailand to Indonesia. SHAY'S FILIPINO CAFE

Finally, a place to grab some ono Filipino food in Kakaʻako! Waipio-based Shay’s Filipino Café opened a pop-up location in collaboration with FISH Honolulu, located on the second level of SALT at Our Kakaʻako.
